Today we're doubling concurrency limits across all Steel Cloud plans. Run more agents in parallel without hitting rate limits or implementing complex queuing systems.
New limits
Hobby: 2 → 5 concurrent sessions
Starter: 5 → 10 concurrent sessions
Developer: 10 → 20 concurrent sessions
Pro/Startups: 50 → 100 concurrent sessions
Higher concurrency means you can scale your agent workloads without waiting in queue or upgrading plans prematurely.
Why this matters
Concurrency limits are the bottleneck for agent workloads. When you hit your limit, new session requests either queue or fail. This forces you to build queuing logic, throttle requests, or upgrade to higher tiers before you actually need the compute.
Doubled limits give you more headroom. You can handle traffic spikes, run batch jobs faster, and prototype new agents without worrying about hitting walls.
For production workloads, higher concurrency means lower latency for end users. Instead of waiting for a session slot to open up, requests get handled immediately.
Get started
New concurrency limits are live now for all Steel Cloud customers. No changes needed. Your account automatically has access to the higher limits.
